Emerging fashion talents in New York

On 9 September 2012, former in New York headquartered now in Hollywood based arts and entertainment (art, film, music, design) organization GenArt presents seven selected fashion design labels at 'Fresh Faces in Fashion' during New York Fashion Week (6 to 13 September). GenArt is known for alumni in film such as Adrien Brody, Matt Dillon, Marisa Tomei or designers who started as 'Fresh Faces in Fashion' such as Rodarte, Zac Posen, Phillip Lim and some CFDA Award winners.

Part of the designers whose Spring/Summer 2013 fashion items will be on view on the catwalk in New York on 9 September is the Italian label 'Comeforbreakfast', founded in 2009 by Antonio Romano (studied fashion design at Polimoda in Florence; he is the fashion director of the brand) and Francesco Alagna (educated in Industrial Design and Fashion Buying at Marangoni in Milan). Comeforbreakfast represents the new concept of 'Made in Italy' which is defined by research on fabrics, shapes and details and its translation into fashion. After the show in New York on 9 September, Comeforbreakfast's new Spring/Summer 2013 collection is from 20 to 24 September on view at Palazzo Morando/Vogue Italia in Milan and from 28 September to 6 October in Paris.

Anne Sofie Madsen is another of GenArt's designers in New York. Born in Denmark, she studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Design and worked with John Galliano and Alexander McQueen.
