Lena Hoschek and Vossen teamed up for a bathrobe

On 30 June, the Austrian designer Lena Hoschek presented the 'Ahoy' Spring/Summer 2017 collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. Lena Hoschek is known for her culture-historical approach to fashion for developing her collections. For the 'Ahoy' women's wear, Hoschek as she said "...enjoyed literally diving into the maritime world, losing myself in the research and becoming addicted to the clichés."
Lena Hoschek incorporated her research results concerning bathing culture, fashion from 1900 over the 20ies to the 1940ies how it was lived and worn especially at the seaside resort of Binz (famous for the well-restored resort architecture) in Rügen at the Baltic Sea (Germany) into her signature style of very feminine dresses in figure-enhancing cuts and wide skirts with narrow tops.

One of the highlights of the 'Ahoy' collection is the blue bathrobe designed for the Austrian company Vossen. It's announced that the item marks only the beginning of the Lena Hoschek for Vossen collaboration which will be continued in Spring 2017.
