Street views and gallery of SS16 collections shown at Russia Fashion Week
Fashionoffice browsed through the picture material provided by Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia which was held from 21 October until yesterday the 25th mainly at the Manege nearby the Red Square and the Kremlin in Moscow. The street wear snap shots show visitors of the fashion week dressed in colorful outfits partly with artful prints and comfortable day wear in muted tones.
MBFWRussia posted the runway images together with videos of more than 50 catwalk presentations at its online gallery where the material is publicly accessible. Over 70 designers from Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Italy, Turkey, China, etc presented Spring/Summer 2016 fashion - from day wear to evening and kids fashion. Highlights are the collections by Alena Akhmadullina (incorporates the lightness of a summer day at the sea with prints and 3-D details of ocean waves into day and evening wear and uses therefore even jeans), Viva Vox (creates with accentuated shoulders, short skirts and floating materials female figure enhancing outfits that remind the 70ies) or Bessarion (whose designer plays goth-rock with sportswear inspired patterns).
