Glamorous fragrance and the celebrity cast behind and in front

In December 2012, Just Cavalli presented the new campaign for the label's self-titled fragrance (release in February 2013). Browsing through the press material of the new fragrance by the young line of Roberto Cavalli is like reading a fashion and beauty Who is Who.

Just Cavalli introduces with the headline "Love At First Bite" into the idea of the fragrance which is described as wild, sexy and provocing. The idea of a 'hunt' in a metropolitan jungle is reflected even in the bottle design by the brand's signature animal prints. The snake print is on view at the closure of the bottle (photo below); and fig.: Georgia May Jagger wears on the campaign photo trousers with snake print. The Just Cavalli perfumers have already written olfactory history: Nathalie Lorson (created fragrances for Gucci, Davidoff, Givenchy, Moschino...) and Fabrice Pellegrin (compositions for Armani, Paul Smith, Nina Ricci...) are both from Grasse, the famous perfumery region in France and work for Firmenich.

But with the perfumers, the list of celebrities is not at the end. The print campaign is shot by fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti (who exhibited his work already in museums like the Victoria and Albert Museum in London or the Museum of Modern Art in New York) and the campaign video is directed by award-winning Jonas Akerlund who is known for music videos like Lady Gaga's 'Paparazzi'. The fragrance video is not unveiled yet; Just Cavalli only provides the information that it is about a passionate play between two lovers.

And last but not least probably one of the most interesting fashion entrepreneurs nowadays, Diesel Group founder Renzo Rosso. He is the new Creative Director of 'Just Cavalli'. Watch two pieces from the SS2013 collection on this page and the fashion show video below.

Video: Just Cavalli Spring/Summer 2013. Renzo Rosso is the new Creative Director of Just Cavalli, currently represented by 29 own stores. It is announced that Just Cavalli plans to open during the next three years 80 new shops.
