From 14 to 18 July 2011, it's the seventh time that international designers and labels present swimwear at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Miami, Florida. The Italian brand Diesel opened the shows on 14 July with pieces inspired by board sports and jeans with a touch of 70s James Bond and was consequently in a good position for high media attention.
But there is also another outstanding label which has to be mentioned in an article about the Fashion Week Miami. According to the views by the users on YouTube, one of the most interesting shows was (until now, afternoon 18 July) the one by the boudoir-inspired label Beach Bunny; probably because Sports Illustrated (issue 2011) and Guess model Kate Upton appeared on the catwalk - and on the video in the opening scene (watch the video below); you can see her on the image in the bride swimwear outfit.

Los Angeles based Beach Bunny designer Angela Chittenden finds for her luxury-couture swimwear inspiration in the bedroom and lingerie. The label was launched in 2004 and presents glamorous California lifestyle with a touch of boudoir on swimwear, bridal swimwear, loungewear, sandals, accessories like necklaces etc. The label's Beach Bunny Bride is the first ever bridal swimwear collection. The pieces are made of exclusive materials like Chantilly lace, Swarovski crystals, or hand beaded pearls.
"You’ll also find more Beach Bunny Swimwear suits than any other designer line in the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue — and on the amazing bodies of supermodels like Irina Shayk, Bar Refaeli, Heidi Klum and Petra Nemcova.
