The native of Vejle, Denmark, was a 2005 CFDA Scholarship Award recipient as well as a 2005 Sister City Scholarship Exchange Program winner. She spent 2006 studying abroad at Studio Berçot and interned at design companies Chloe and Studio Edelkoort.
