Yana Galbshtein used the Marsh Arabs and endangered cultures as her inspiration. (The Marsh Arabs live in South-Iraq. Their semi-nomadic way of life has remained unchanged for 5000 years. Some believe they are directly descended from the Sumerian and Babylonian.)

Wilkes Bashford selected BFA Fashion Design graduate Yana Galbshtein as his choice for a three-month internship in Naples, Italy to work in the design studio of KITON, which produces both men’s and womenswear. slideshow & text>>>
