FASHION WEEKS
in January 2011

Men's wear FW2011/12 opening shows in Milan and Paris

In mid-January 2011, the seasonal Fashion Week Circus will start with the men's wear catwalk shows fall/winter 2011/12 in Milan, which are followed up by the next 'men's wear'-only presentations in Paris. On 29 December 2010, Fashionoffice has looked closer at the schedules of cameramoda.it and modeaparis.com and searched for more information about the openers of the men's wear shows.

Milano Uomo Moda 15 - 18 January 2011

The Milan Fashion Week will begin with the runway show by a typical Italian fashion house Corneliani for elegant men's wear made of luxurious materials and focus on cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. Corneliani was founded in the 1930s and is until today a family business with headquarter in Mantua, Italy. Today, Corneliani has shops in Dubai, Shanghai, London, Paris, Moscow, New Delhi...

Mode à Paris 19 - 23 January 2011

On 29 Dec 2010, the young French designer Thibaud Etcheberry is scheduled to open the shows of Men's Fashion in Paris.

Before Thibaud Etcheberry premiered with his own label in June 2010 in Paris, he has worked for Yigal Azrouel and Gaspard Yurkievich. His SS2011 men's wear collection 'Out Of The World' - an homage to his grand-parents, has received attention by the press such as from the French publication 3emegauche.tv, which has published a video online that gives insight into the work of the designer.

Video: Thibaud Etcheberry SS2011 during Paris Fashion Week. What makes his collection SS2011 extraordinary is that the appearance of the models on the catwalk looks almost provocative devastated - such as they have just survived an earth quake. This applies a dangerous vibrating 'survivor'-appeal to the sportive urban pieces. Fashionoffice is eager to see what Thibaud Etcheberry will present on 19 January!
